Have you posted your OSHA 300A yet? Employers who are required to maintain the OSHA 300 must post the 300A by February 1, 2017. The posting period is through April 30 and should be in an area conspicuous to employees. The link below is to the OSHA website on recordkeeping requirements:
This might be the appropriate time to remind folks of the new rule regards the Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses. While a portion (respects anti-retaliation protections) of the rule is already in place, the primary focus of the rule is regarding the electronic reporting of injury and illness data. This is to be phased in over two years, with the first deadline coming this summer, on July 1, 2017. More details can be found in the link below:
